Mr. Riger is a transportation planner with eleven years of private and public sector experience. His project portfolio encompasses multimodal and long range transportation plans, transit planning and analysis studies, integrated land use and transportation corridor/sector plans, and local comprehensive planning and development traffic impact reviews. Mr. Riger has managed multimodal transportation planning projects for Metropolitan Planning Organizations, public transit agencies, cities, counties, and other entities. He is also skilled in public facilitation, traffic modeling, and congestion management analysis. Mr. Riger obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors in City and Regional Planning from New Mexico State University in 1997 and has been a certified planner (AICP) since 2002. He currently volunteers for the Colorado Chapter of the American Planning Association in teaching the transportation planning component of their AICP exam preparation study course. Later this year, he will develop and implement an online transportation planning course for the Chapter’s Planning Institute of Colorado (continuing education for Realtors.)
